Thank you for helping RTRC pay for medical bills for Missy, Xena and other rat terriers in need.
Coffee purchases for this campaign are being delivered to the Rat Terrier Rescue fundraising team for local (Toronto area) distribution before Canada Day 2022.

Catahoula Casual - medium roast blend
The CATAHOULA CASUAL MEDIUM ROAST is a classic blend of South & Central American coffees.
Also known as Sparkplug’s Deuce Coupe, the Catahoula Casual blend is smooth and balanced and makes a delicious cup of java. Especially recommended for filter brewed coffee - manual or automatic.
Doberman dark roast blend
If you love a dark, strong, bold coffee then the DOBERMAN DARK ROAST is for you! Also known as Sparkplug’s Globetrotter Espresso, this brew is smoky-sweet, smooth and suave - dark yet never bitter. Made for espresso, it is also delicious made in a French press or auto drip coffeemaker.
Africanis Original Ethiopian blend
Also known as Sparkplug’s Road Trip, organic Ethiopian beans are the secret to the AFRICANIS ORIGINAL ETHIOPIAN BLEND’S sweet and balanced taste. We call it a City Roast - on the lighter side of medium - to bring out hints of blueberry, jasmine and raisin. A lighter tasting and modern-style coffee, this one is for coffee connoisseurs. Little Yorkie Terrier Decaf
The LITTLE YORKIE TERRIER DECAF is made from decaffeinated coffees from around the globe, roasted a little darker than usual for decaf, blended to create a delicious, full-flavoured coffee. Also known as Sparkplug’s Unleaded Decaf, this coffee is great brewed, amazing as espresso. Chocolatey with a rich body and clean finish. You'll never guess it's decaf!

WHERE will the coffee be shipped?
ALL ORDERS WILL BE SHIPPED TOGETHER to the Rat Terrier Rescue fundraising team. They’ll be in touch to arrange local pickup or drop offs.
RTRC can arrange shipping but costs must be paid PRIOR to placing a coffee order. Email rtrcfundraising @ gmail.com for more info.

How can I pay for the coffee?
You can pay by credit card or PayPal (no need for a PayPal account) on our website. All orders must be paid for at time of ordering
How much money will RAT TERRIER RESCUE CANADA make?
RTRC earns between 20% and 25% of total sales. There are bonuses so as sales increase, the portion that goes back to help rat terriers also increases.
What’s the purpose of this fundraiser?
Rat Terrier Rescue Canada was established in 2007.
Made up of a group of volunteers and foster homes in Ontario, they help dogs from high kill shelters, hoarding situations, puppy mills and owner surrender find a second chance.
Help RTRC help dogs like Yumi + Tootsie Roll who are in Aqua Therapy, Xena's tumor surgeries and Missy's heart surgeries.
A portion of every sale of coffee goes directly to help pay for these dogs' medical bills.

How do the coffee SIZES work?
the STANDARD 350g bag makes about 30-40 nice sized mugs
the LARGE 900g bag makes around 100 cups or 15-20 pots of coffee

All our coffees are made from ethically sourced, premium Arabica coffees. Most beans are directly traded, some are FairTrade and/or organic.
Every week, our coffees are roasted, hand-blended and packed to order (whole bean or ground just before shipping) to ensure it arrives as fresh as possible. We recommend drinking them up within 3-4 months of the packing date (noted on every bag) for the freshest, most flavourful coffee. Drink it up faster if it’s pre-ground.

Do I just eat these? Whole coffee beans?
Yes, these are totally edible!
Do these contain caffeine?
Yes, Perk Me Ups contain caffeine and sugar so will give you a little energy boost.
How much will these perk me up?
Just a bit. They are safe to eat at any time of day. Just don't go crazy and eat them all just before bedtime!
Allergy alert! Made for us at a facility in Toronto that also makes nutty products. Contains milk ingredients and may have come in contact with peanuts, tree nuts and wheat.
