We met Mr. Holey Brewed (Mr. HB for short) and immediately hit it off. How can you not love a guy who is all about coffee and doughnuts?! We started talking about how we could collaborate and ended up making a custom Holey Brewed coffee blend: Holey Smoke.
Holey Smoke is a smokey and spicy darker roast blend of SE Asian coffees with a very special South American Bourbon aged Purple Caturra. Although Bourbon is in the name, in this case it is the variety of coffee bean. We think the taste is reminiscent of a great bourbon, too. This is something to sip by the fireside - warming and delicious and very special.

When it comes to Holey Smoke, we like it best as a rich, syrupy French press or any espresso-style coffee (moka pot / Bialetti, espresso, extra strong Aeropress). Definitely best paired with a doughnut. (I like a simple chocolate glazed.)
