Allison Heather needs one good cup, made the same way every morning. French press, Deuce Coupe, a little cream. That's the ritual.
Allison has been a Sparkplug customer for so many years she's lost count. She thinks we met at a ladies beer club meetup. I think our first meeting may have been at a community association meeting, back when it met at a local pub. Either way, it involved beer, not coffee.

My go-to coffee
Kara here: Deuce Coupe is our smooth and rich Latin American medium-dark roast blend. We designed it for drip but, as Allison knows, it is also great in a French press!
My coffee day
After trying to remember to drink a glass of water, it's how I start my day! I make it in a French press with cream.

What I love most about coffee
The scent of opening a bag of freshly ground Sparkplug coffee. Nothing else like it!

My most memorable coffee
Recency bias, but I had an amazing coffee in Portugal at a brunch spot called Hello, Kristof. Central American beans - I asked. Super bright and delicious!
How I found Sparkplug
So many years ago I don't remember! I think I met Kara at a ladies beer club meetup.
Barley’s Angels! I met Allison and several other cool women through that group.
