You may know that I love to travel even more than I love coffee - and that’s a lot! And I’ve been very fortunate to have travelled, worked and lived all around the world. In all my travels, one of the most special places I visited - and the place with the best coffee by far - was Ethiopia.

Hari Balaraman is one of Sparkplug Coffee's first customers and he lives close to Sparkplug coffee HQ in Toronto so his coffee is delivered on foot instead of via Canada Post. He invited me to stop in to sample a cup of kopi luwak (aka civet coffee or cat poop coffee) that he'd purchased in his travels. I took the opportunity to quiz him about his coffee habits and other passions.
