The Soo’s Giant Baseball

a juicy & summery cup

Featuring the World’s Largest Baseball in Sault Ste. Marie on its label, this juicy, sweet medium-light roast Colombian coffee is the perfect summery cup of coffee. It reminds us of honeycrisp apples.

Play Ball!

The Soo’s Baseball coffee is named for the GIANT baseball in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

This is the world's largest baseball, located at Sinclair Yards Baseball field. At 10 feet / 3.05m in diameter, it's 2,000 times larger than a standard baseball!

Built by the Soo Minor Baseball Association, the giant baseball is sponsored by Diamond Baseballs which provides enough balls to run the league every year in return for having its name on the side.

Did You Know?

Baseball is as Canadian as hockey and poutine. Major League Baseball’s website has these Fun Canadian Baseball Facts:

The first recorded baseball game was played in London, Ontario on June 4, 1838 - a year before Abner Doubleday supposedly invented the game in Cooperstown, New York.

Babe Ruth’s first home run was hit in Hanlan’s Point, Toronto, Ontario. It's believed the ball is still in Lake Ontario.

Prior to breaking Major League Baseball’s color barrier in 1947, Jackie Robinson started at second base for the Montreal Royals, a Brooklyn Dodgers farm team in Quebec.

In 2003, Canadian Eric Gagné became both the first pitcher to record 50 saves in more than one season and also the fastest pitcher to ever reach the 100-save plateau.
